It’s our delight to share these free CV or Resume example templates with you. Ok, what is a CV or Resume? Curriculum vitæ (CV), is a Latin expression which can be loosely translated as the course of one’s life. A CV or Resume provides an overview of a person’s experience and other qualifications. A CV is typically the first item that a potential employer encounters regarding the job seeker and is typically used to screen applicants, if effective, the submission of such a CV is often followed by an interview when seeking employment.

A CV is usually a maximum of 2 pages of an A4 paper. It contains only a summary of a job seeker’s employment history, qualifications and some personal information. Usually, it is often updated or tweaked to align and target the emphasis of the information according to the particular position for which the job seeker is applying.

Preparing and sending a CV is the most convenient way to apply for jobs. It conveys your personal details in the way that presents you in the best possible light. All job seekers should always see their CV as a marketing document with which they are marketing something: themselves! Usually, a Cover Letter accompanies a CV to the desk or desktop of a potential employer.

With the help of a CV, you can showcase and “sell” your skills, abilities, qualifications and experience to any employer. It can be used to make multiple applications to employers in a specific career area. Sometimes, many large graduate recruiters will not accept individual CVs and instead ask job seekers to use their own company’s application form.
